Accreditation

Weekday Children's Center has been accredited by the NAEYC Academy of Early Childhood Programs, a branch of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Criteria for accreditation include:

-Frequent, positive, warm interactions among adults and your child

-Planned learning activities appropriate to your child's age and development, such as block building, painting, reading stories, dress-up, and active outdoor play

-Specially trained teachers, with an average of 8 years professional experience and 4 years at WCC

-Many varied age-appropriate materials

-A healthy and safe environment for your child

-Nutritious meals and/or snacks

-Regular communication with parents who are welcome visitors at all times

-Effective administration

-Ongoing, systematic evaluation
